Many are slighting Justice's new releases; I myself, although I agree the production is not in the direction I had anticipated, think that this new spell of indie electro-rock is exciting. So far the duo has awed me with the progressive delights of modern rock with the club taste I desperately desire. The newest sneak preview of the album is "Helix" and with this, they have taken their new approach even further; from 2:45 onwards, it is an absolute classic in the making.
The new "Weekend In America" album is almost here and it will bring new stellar tracks from the man who has been hailed as the Beethoven of our times. Of the new content, my favourites are near the end of the LP; "The Way It Was" is bursting with intricate melodies and chord progressions only broken up by distorted aural madness in the drop. "The Champ" is somewhat reminiscent of Space Junk which also features on the album and "Shrunken Heads" brings a far harsher raw synth to the table; enjoy.
Not since Benny Benassi's Satisfaction have I heard a track with such a raw, instinctual rhythm and melody. Once this tune drops, all hell breaks loose with some of the tightest bass plucks I have heard for years; straight up anthem right here.
The two massive tracks from 16bit's new EP encapsulate his harsh and deep style while retaining rhythmic rawness. Boston Cream steals the show for me, with its old school vibes never failing to get me hyped, but Dinosaurs hits powerfully accompanied by its trippy music video.
Lunacy, Clichés and a hard dance beat make for a wild interpretation of where dance music has taken us. I for one am sold on the no-subtlety approach that Ricky Reed has delivered this time around; "so stay up, until you wake up".

The newest remix of Foster The People's hit indie tune is from none other than the dub god Vaski who is offering the golden track for free. Somehow the spirit of the original is maintained perfectly while harbouring the kind of dirty insanity one expects from a dubstep rework; prepare to find yourself merrily whistling along before being pummeled to the floor distorted synth style.
We are getting so close to the release of Justice's up and coming second album and with very little shown, we can only imagine the studio gold they will deliver. Another single from the album has been leaked though and it is a melodic banger; a simple vocal progression but Justice-tight production and verve makes this track excel.
The Prehistory EP is out and with it brings some of the finest work I have yet heard from TEED. The first track, 'Moon Hits The Mirrorball' is such an original funkalicious tune with a heavy club beat layered under disco glitch with enigmatic and subtle melodies throughout. 'That One' also provides a sound that is completely new to me with a breakdown of an almost deep house style; rhythmic progression with TEED's characteristic bass plucks. Finally, with 'Dipper', TEED takes a trip into electro minimalism with this sublime odyssey of a track that never relaxes into a single musical notion. This EP is not to be missed.
The club master is back with two brand new, giant singles that will pump your system like nothing before. Voices is a tribal, slightly eerie tune that hits into an epic, filthy electro bass reminiscent of the early noughties. Deep Red is a more typical Fake Blood track with a clearly distinguished synth melody and a perfect adrenaline rush drop. Here are the previews; the full EP is due mid september on Cheap Thrills.
